This festival starts with a cultural procession inspired by  Mughal splendor, joined by caparisoned elephants, camels, drum beaters, folk  artists. All reminiscence the golden era of Mughal period.  We can call it a replica of grand Mughal  Darbar.

Here one finds the wood  carvings from Saharanpur, brass and other metal works from Moradabad, handmade  carpets of Badohi, the blue pottery of Khurja, the Chikan work of Lucknow, the silk of Banares, just to name a few. The  legendary craftsmanship of Agra  is also displayed in this festival. It is a crafts fair.
    	   The food festival is a part of this carnival. Some of the  oldest and legendary chefs of the region prepare a wide array of dishes for the  guests. The gourmets can savor a wide variety of dishes. Music and dance are  integral parts of this festival. Folk dance and music is performed by the  artistes.
